CLASSES AND CLUBS

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤSUBJECTS

• There are three categories of subjects for the students at CIMA: general subjects, specialised subjects and elemental bending subjects. There is also one extra subject for first years and transferees.

• Students of all years are required to take the general classes. Specialised classes will be available as electives for students Year 4 and above.

• The basic bending classes focus on element formation (ex. gathering water from the sources, fire from the body, etc.) and transportation methods (ex. air scooter, earth movements, etc.). The advanced elemental bending includes a deeper understanding of the uses of the elements in combat.

• There are 7 general subjects and 8 elemental bending subjects. They are as follows:

• There are 8 official clubs in CIMA. This list does not include student-formed organisations as they are not yet recognised by the Institution.

ㅤ ㅤ◦ Astronomy Club - Under this club, students will have the opportunity to not only talk about their various theories on celestial bodies and phenomena but also learn how to conjure spells under the Astronomy category. They have exclusive club room equipment sponsored by Professor Horikawa Takehiko himself.

ㅤ ㅤ◦ Dueling Club - Students under the duelling club will be allowed to make use of their knowledge in Potions and Charms in a duel between their peers. Unauthorized/unsupervised duelling is punishable by expulsion.

ㅤ ㅤ◦ Greenhouse and Mystical Beast Club - Students under this club will have the opportunity to hone their gardening skills as well as enrich their relationships with multiple Mythical Beasts. The students will be responsible for the landscaping of the campus garden as well as tending to the captured animals.

ㅤ ㅤ◦ Home Economics Club - Students under this club will be able to enrich their cooking, knitting, sewing and pottery skills. The students will have to choose one (1) skill that they particularly want to excel at.

ㅤ ㅤ◦ Newspaper Committee - Students under this club will be incharge of making the school’s official newspaper with their job to spread accurate news and information. They will have access to their own private office as well as have control on what the official CIMA newspaper account will post.

ㅤ ㅤ◦ United Nations Club - Students under this club will be able to enrich their knowledge on multiple wizarding world issues, gain language skills and will have an opportunity to visit other wizarding schools and meet international members of the UN. It is a requirement for students under the UN to learn at least one (1) language.

ㅤ ㅤ◦ Scholars Society - Students under this club are expected to excel greatly in academics and are required to be a part of the honors list each semester. They will have access to their own private library where sessions and meetings will be held. They will also be held responsible for student events.

ㅤ ㅤ◦ Sports Committee - Students under this club can engage in tyro sports other than CIMA’s official Larcen, such as badminton and boxing. Although tyro sports are involved, outside competitions will not be held instead be replaced with campus competitions where students under the committee will be able to compete.
